"Look, mama, I've never seen so much wa-wa!"
"all this wa-wa and white snow (aka sand) makes me laugh."
We finally got away from Castro Valley, CA and took Beau and Stella to Monterey for our 2nd annual beach trip (my self imposed requirement after moving to the west coast!).
Beau jumps on a waterbed-type pool in the children's area at the Monterey Acquairum.
Beau wasn't so sure about the sand on his feet. Couple that with the fact that he kept calling it white snow (remember he was born in Iowa...), makes me think that we've got to get him to the beach more often!
We had fun digging and building sand towers.
Daddy introduces him to the "white wa-wa." He definitely preferred having his feet in the water vs. the sand.
The anticipation of the tide is almost to much to bear...
...and here it is!
Here's our little beach bum--ready for a nice, warm bath!
