Grandma and Grandpa visits!

Grandma Judy came to visit in April and brought these beautiful homemade afghans with her!  The boys choose the yarn colors earlier, so each blanket is very personalized!

The boys specifically wanted afghans after they saw Daddy curled up in HIS afghan that his own grandma made him years ago!  What a fun tradition.  It's so cozy with their new blankets and with daddy!

Beau likes to call his "pretty biddy."

Heath calls his blanket "happy biddy."  Thank you Grandma Judy!

Grandma Judy cam back up again in June--this time with Grandpa too!  The boys were quick to give Grandpa a full tour of our pretend new house.  The next day we headed out on a long hike through McDonald Forest and Chip Ross Park to show off how pretty Oregon is...

...sometimes we stopped to help the trees grow.

We found two places to go berry picking--and the boys and Grandma and Grandpa went twice during the week!  First for strawberries, and then for both strawberries AND raspberries.  What a treat to have fresh berries and to have so much fun in the process!

Look what else we found?  A cute little egg stand--and on the honor system to boot!  Only in Corvallis...
