Beau's 1st day of kindergarten at Hoover Elementary School in Corvallis! He is so excited to have the mascot of his school be a Husky (as is Mommy and Papa Dan)! Mommy has been looking for an excuse to wear her UW gear around Beaver Nation...
Stella's not exactly a Husky but close enough...
They are best buds and Stella was sad to see him leave in the morning. She likes to watch him ride his bike down the cul-de-sac with Daddy from the front porch each morning. BUT it is a real treat for her (and Mommy!) to be able to walk down to the school to pick Beau after kindergarten. She gets lots of pets from cute little kids and Beau's smile could not get any bigger when he comes through the door and sees her waiting for him--a win-win for everyone!
Beau is in Mrs. Raleigh's class and is doing great--he even breezed through his first show-and-tell with no hesitation!
Heath has even visited once with Mommy when she was volunteering in the classroom. He walked right in, sat down with Beau and started raising his arm to answer questions like all the other kids! He fit right in! Slow down, buddy, your chance will come--all too soon! :(
