the day the truck arrived...

We woke up early to wait for the truck...and when we heard it pulling into our cul-de-sac, the neighbors undoubtedly woke up to our boys cries of joy!!!

The porch provided a great place to welcome the truck.  As you can see, it was pouring down rain on this end of the moving cycle as well.  Welcome to Oregon, Kronmillers!

Brent was also more than thrilled to see the moving truck and he volunteered to take the first load off the truck!  What was it?  Our light up pumpkins, naturally.  Too funny.

Look at these 3 hard workers just waiting to help with more loads coming off the truck.

And look at that rain!  Somehow it didn't phase the boys one bit.

The boys were thrilled to see their toys arrive and immediately got down to business.  Who needs a bed when you can sleep in a toy chest?

One of the first things that came off the truck was Heath's plastic stroller which he ran up and down our (very steep) driveway carrying load after load.  He thought this made a great "dollie" and referred to himself as a mover.  He barely stopped to rest and definitely outperformed one of the paid movers who quit after only 4 hours!  (Yes, he was in his "kelton jammies" all day which he specifically wanted to wear on moving day).

Mover hard at work.

Phew!  The Lego bricks arrived!  Now we can sleep at night!
