Heath's first day of his NEW preschool was on April 5th and he was excited!
Both boys posed outside the NEW front door for first day of school pics (even though this was officially Beau's 3rd day of new school...).
Both boys attend their respective schools Tues - Fri mornings which is great to have them on essentially the same schedule. That leaves lots of time for Mommy, Beau and Heathy days!
Heath was lucky enough to get *early* admission to the OSU Child Development Center--a wonderful program that my mom taught at, graduated from and fund-raised for the new facility. (Hence the probable reason he was accepted even though his birth date didn't officially make the cut off). He is officially a "Lab Rat" in the program where students can observe his every move through one-way mirrors set up in his classroom. All in the name of science, eh? Being a lab rat makes his Daddy very proud.
It just so happens that Heath's preschool is in the building right next to Daddy's work! Most days, Daddy bikes into work with Heath on the back of his bike--which both Heath and Daddy just love. Heath loves to say "weee" up all the hills and sing the "itsy bitsy spider" out loud when it happens to be raining.
Heath loves preschool and the transition has been great--although he is most likely used to it since this is the third different preschool he's been at!
One funny thing about this school is that they feed the kids both breakfast and lunch...but Beau's school does not (they just have their snack of the day). So...we also have breakfast at home before the kids leave...and we have lunch together after I pick the kids up from school. So Heath has double breakfasts and lunches...no wonder he usually has a light dinner! :)
